As we approach 2025, the prominent trends in the gastronomy, tourism, restaurant and hotel management sectors   will have the power to radically change the functioning of these areas and redefine the expectations of the guests, as I wrote in my article " How to make a hotel kitchen ." These predictions, shaped in line with my international and intercontinental experiences, offer an in-depth analysis of the changes in the sector. As in the 2022, 2023 and 2024 trend analyzes I wrote before, I continue my determination to develop innovative approaches and follow these changes closely in 2025. Rapidly changing consumer expectations, integration of technology into daily life and sustainability awareness stand out as the main dynamics that determine this year's trends. While these dynamics reshape the strategies of businesses, they also greatly affect guests' choices and experiences.
 
In the field of gastronomy, trends such as sustainability and plant-based nutrition, as well as  the increasing interest in local ingredients in production , will be the focus of kitchens and menus in 2025. The integration of technological innovations into kitchen processes will redefine cooking and presentation techniques and set new standards in the world of gastronomy. In restaurant technologies, artificial intelligence-supported analysis systems, digitalization and automation will make the guest experience more personal and satisfying. While these technological developments will increase the efficiency of restaurants, they will also ensure the spread of sustainable practices. This will be of great importance both in terms of reducing the costs of businesses and encouraging environmentally friendly approaches.
 
Trends such as digitalization in the tourism industry,  hotel kitchen organization , virtual reality tours and minimalism will make tourists' experiences more rich, personal and meaningful. Health tourism and wellness trends will encourage tourists to focus on their physical and mental health in the post-pandemic period. These trends will enable tourists to travel not only for vacation, but also to rejuvenate themselves and invest in their health. Innovations in the hotel industry such as smart room systems, digital check-in and check-out processes, artificial intelligence-supported concierge services  will increase guest satisfaction in mystery shopping applications and make accommodation experiences more comfortable and personalized. Sustainable hotel technologies will allow hotels to minimize their environmental impact and increase operational efficiency.
 
In addition, I think that we will enter a period in which Turkish cuisine and chefs will take a greater part in the world gastronomy and tourism scene in 2025. Turkish cuisine chefs will gain a solid place for themselves in the global arena by blending traditional flavors with modern gastronomy, and will promote Turkey's rich culinary culture worldwide by prioritizing culinary nationalism. In this process, our chefs' up-to-date presentations that modernize Turkish cuisine while preserving the truth will not only ensure that our local cuisine is recognized in the international arena, but will also make Turkey a center of attraction in terms of gastronomy tourism. This role that Turkish cuisine chefs will assume in 2025 will make a difference in world cuisine and strengthen Turkey's gastronomy tourism potential.
 
These trends that I foresee for 2025 point not only to sectoral changes but also to innovations that will offer new opportunities to businesses and professionals. The culinary culture, restaurant services, tourism experiences and hotel management of the future will be based on technological innovations and sustainability principles. As professionals, we must be prepared to manage this transformation in the best way and consolidate our place in the industry. The year 2025 will redefine the expectations of not only businesses but also guests, creating great success opportunities for those who follow these trends closely.
